Description

You will be responsible for executing the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process with suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and resolving non-conformances. This role involves conducting supplier visits, facilitating root cause analysis, and improving supplier performance to support vehicle launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field
• Minimum 2 years experience in quality, engineering, or manufacturing
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T
• Knowledge of statistical quality control and design of experiments
• Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Ensure supplier adherence to APQP processes, including PPAP submission and approval
• Review and approve supplier quality plans (Control Plans, PFMEA) for new components
• Conduct reviews of supplier manufacturing processes and quality management systems
• Facilitate root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for supplier quality issues
• Execute on-site supplier visits to verify effectiveness of corrective actions
