Description

You will perform specialized welding on piping, structural steel, and facility equipment at SpaceX's Starship launch site, ensuring high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires precision and adherence to strict safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 1+ years TIG welding per ASME B31.3 normal/high-pressure service
• 1+ years in process piping environment with measurement tools
• Ability to lift 35 lbs unassisted, work in confined spaces and at heights up to 120 feet
• Valid driver's license; availability for all shifts, overtime, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Complete welding assignments for construction/repair of structural stands
• Cut, trim, and fabricate metal components per engineering drawings
• Analyze drawings and specifications to plan welding operations
• Use hand welding and flame-cutting equipment to assemble structural forms
• Visually inspect welds per AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 standards
