💼 About This Role

You'll own the electrical architecture for Zipline's P2 charging towers, from site stub-up to charging docks. Your core impact is designing a globally scalable system that meets NEC/UL compliance while staying on budget. This role combines hands-on deployments with financial ownership of the BOM.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design power distribution and cable harnesses for charging towers
• Own Bill of Materials and perform cost trade-off analyses
• Lead regulatory sign-off with Authorities Having Jurisdiction
• Support on-site deployment to ensure design-to-installation translation

📋 Requirements

• Hands-on experience pulling 1-inch diameter power cables
• Professional experience designing industrial electrical systems (UL508a, UL67)
• Expert-level knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Proficiency in RapidHarness or similar for cable assembly design

• Ability to navigate Mechanical CAD for component fit checks
• Project management experience with contractors during stub-up phase
