Description

You will develop video post-processing software for Roku TVs, working closely with Display, Picture Quality, and NPI teams to enable new features. Your work involves embedded Linux software development, video/image processing algorithm implementation, and system integration to deliver scalable solutions across multiple TV platforms.

Requirements

• Hands-on embedded systems experience, preferably in TV or consumer electronics
• Proficiency in Linux kernel, device drivers, and user-space programming
• Strong C/C++ and scripting (Python or Shell) skills
• Background in video/image post-processing
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, HDMI)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Linux-based TV system software across drivers, middleware, and application layers
• Implement algorithms for video/image post-processing enhancement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end system performance
• Debug and resolve system-level issues for robust operation
• Prepare technical documentation and report progress to stakeholders
