💼 About This Role
You'll serve as a technical integrator and field-oriented engineer for industrial instrumentation, electrical, and control systems at Last Energy. You'll ensure automation and control systems are correctly specified, installed, commissioned, and operated in a safety-critical nuclear environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the boundary between design intent and real-world execution.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Define functional requirements for PLCs, HMIs, and safety devices.
- Review and validate PLC logic and HMI designs from vendors.
- Integrate electrical, instrumentation, and automation components.
- Support commissioning, FAT, SAT, and field deployment activities.
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with industrial electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Experience with PLC-based control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols like Modbus, Profinet, or Ethernet/IP.
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience in nuclear, oil & gas, or chemical processing industries.
- Familiarity with IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards.
