Description

You will provide systems engineering and scientific support to software development projects for aircraft and weapons systems within the NAVAIR community. Responsibilities include advising on technical issues, strategic software planning, and acting as a technical interface. This is an onsite role at Patuxent River NAS, MD.

Requirements

• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline with 5+ years relevant experience
• Experience in software requirements, design, process management, integration, and test
• Knowledge of processes for software system design, test, and interoperability
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support and advise on software development requirements and risks
• Provide technical oversight and support strategic software planning
• Serve as hardware/software technical interface to engineering community
• Provide software engineering support and representation
• Provide concurrence on contractor proposed changes to SW development plans
