Description

You will join the Storage team to develop and maintain Pebble, CockroachDB's storage engine. You'll work on LSM-tree storage, MVCC APIs, and Enterprise Encryption At Rest, contributing to the scalability and consistency of CockroachDB. Collaborate with engineers and product managers in an environment that leverages AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• Experience with complex technical products, distributed systems, concurrency control, file systems, data replication, or memory management
• Comfort with programming languages like Go, C/C++, Java, or Python
• Solid product architecture knowledge
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Contribute to growth of CockroachDB through expertise in storage engine development
• Develop in Go and improve CockroachDB performance
• Work closely with engineers and product managers across cloud and database teams
• Participate in collaborative culture and knowledge exchange
