You'll design and build scalable systems for april's tax platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead cross-functional engineering initiatives from design to deployment
• Participate in technical decision-making and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and stakeholders for data-driven experiences
• Promote a culture of clean code, testing, and continuous improvement

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years in a senior, staff, or principal role
• Experience designing distributed systems in cloud-native environments (GCP or AWS)
• Deep expertise in backend technologies including microservices, event-driven architectures, and REST/gRPC APIs

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers in production
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Kubernetes
