💼 About This Role

You'll drive growth strategy for Sonar through M&A, strategic investments, and partnerships. You'll build a proprietary pipeline of opportunities and lead cross-functional diligence. This role offers direct operating exposure at a fast-growing independent software company at the forefront of AI.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct outbound sourcing and market mapping across AI coding, developer tools, and adjacent SDLC categories.
• Triage opportunities and perform first-pass commercial, product, and technical screens.
• Own and maintain corporate development pipeline and CRM hygiene.
• Build relationships with founders, bankers, and investors to generate proprietary deal flow.

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years full-time experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or in-house corporate development.
• Demonstrated exposure to the full deal lifecycle including sourcing, diligence, and modeling.
• Strong financial modeling and analytics fundamentals for SaaS/software businesses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to produce executive-ready materials.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in developer tools, AI coding, or application security sectors.
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, CAC payback, Rule of 40.
