💼 About This Role

You'll join Mandolin as a foundational member of the Finance & Strategy function, working directly alongside the Chief of Staff to the CEO. You'll build models that shape company direction and produce board-ready materials, while owning workstreams across strategic finance, financial operations, analytics, and compliance. This role offers direct exposure to CEO and investor-level strategy at a Series A company approaching its next inflection point.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain financial models including runway, burn, and revenue projections.
• Own day-to-day invoicing, billing, AP, and AR processes.
• Support board materials, fundraising data rooms, and investor due diligence.
• Build dashboards and reporting infrastructure for leadership visibility.

📋 Requirements

• 3–5 years in strategic finance, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Advanced financial modeling skills from a blank spreadsheet.
• Operational finance fluency with AP/AR, invoicing, and month-end close.
• Dashboard and BI tool experience (Excel/Sheets at minimum).

✨ Nice to Have

• Startup finance/bizops experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Looker is a plus.
