You'll build scalable ML systems for evaluating autonomous driving behaviors at Waymo. Your work will directly improve the performance of the Waymo Driver powering millions of miles. This role combines data engineering, model development, and simulation to deliver cutting-edge evaluation systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build scalable systems for training and fine-tuning large-scale models.
• Work at the intersection of data engineering, model development, and simulation.
• Own large, complex systems and drive architectural decisions.
• Design and scale large distributed systems for the ML lifecycle.

📋 Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, ML, AI, or related field.
• 3+ years in machine learning infrastructure.
• Contributions to ML tooling and frameworks like PyTorch, Jax, Tensorflow, Ray.
• Strong expertise in distributed training techniques.

✨ Nice to Have

• 5+ years in ML infrastructure.
• Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or simulation environments.
• Familiarity with large-scale simulation platforms and ML training workflows.
