💼 About This Role

You'll join a cross-functional team building Elixir/Phoenix backends and scalable integrations for Remote's global HR platform. Your work will directly enable businesses to hire and manage talent across 60+ countries. This role offers autonomy with async work and the chance to shape agentic workflows as a core engineering practice.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead major team-scoped projects and cross-team initiatives
• Design and implement APIs and integrations for HR/Payroll products
• Propose and operationalize agentic workflows end-to-end
• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews

📋 Requirements

• Professional experience shipping production systems that are secure, reliable, and scalable
• Practical experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows
• Ability to think in systems: define specs, break down plans, verify quality
• Experience with Postgres (or similar) and CI/CD (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins)
