You'll design and maintain ETL data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics for a growing software consultancy. Your work ensures efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading to support high-quality applications.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain ETL data processes using PySpark in Azure Synapse
• Design and build data storage structures in MPP SQL Pool
• Extract data from REST APIs, SQL tables, and CSV files
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes

📋 Requirements

• Proven experience with PySpark for ETL from REST APIs, SQL tables, and CSV files
• Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics including Notebooks and Pipelines
• Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries (SparkSQL and MS SQL)
• Experience with version control systems like Git (Azure DevOps)

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with big data technologies, machine learning, and data analysis
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and Agile Methodologies
• Azure Data Engineer certification
