💼 About This Role

You'll lead data platform architecture and foundational systems at FloQast, enabling teams to build on a reliable, scalable data foundation. This role shapes the company's data strategy across engineering, product, and business operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design scalable data pipelines and storage solutions using cloud-native technologies
• Own and evolve core data platform components like event streaming and lakehouse architecture
• Define best practices for data quality, lineage, privacy, and access control
• Mentor engineers and establish coding and architectural standards

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience in data infrastructure or distributed systems
• Proven track record delivering production-grade data platforms at scale
• Strong experience with Snowflake, dbt, Kafka, Airflow, Spark and cloud-native technologies
• Hands-on experience building APIs and services for data access and metadata management

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment
• Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines or real-time analytics platforms
