💼 About This Role

You'll own the full lifecycle of the Flight Termination System for hypersonic aircraft, from design to flight. You'll lead coordination with regulatory authorities and manage interfaces with avionics and ground systems. This role is critical to national defense and offers the chance to work on cutting-edge high-speed aircraft.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own full lifecycle of Flight Termination System design, build, test, integration, and flight.
• Own top-level system design including mechanical/electrical hardware and CONOPs.
• Own interfaces between FTS and vehicle (avionics, fluid, structural).
• Own FTS interface to Flight Test Range, including communications and documentation.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of aerospace high criticality hardware experience.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace engineering or related field.
• Experience in hardware design (electrical and/or mechanical).
• Experience in test planning and execution.
