You'll lead test campaigns for electromechanical hardware on next-generation hybrid-electric aircraft, translating engineering questions into actionable data. You'll architect test infrastructure and partner with cross-functional teams to drive design improvement through fast iteration. This onsite role offers high ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Define and execute verification plans for actuators, motors, and propulsion subsystems.
- Build and maintain test stands, fixtures, and instrumentation setups.
- Analyze test data to drive design improvements and validate performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams on fast iteration cycles.
๐ Requirements
- BS/MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of aerospace or electromechanical test engineering experience.
- Working fluency with DO-160 and familiarity with DO-254 principles.
- Hands-on experience with sensors, DAQ systems, load cells, and vibration analysis.

- FAA certification exposure for manned systems.
- Background in power electronics, propulsion components, or actuator systems.
- Startup or rapid-development environment experience.
