Description

You will contribute to Mozilla's localization infrastructure, working on open-source libraries, the Pontoon translation management system, and internationalization features for Firefox. You'll collaborate with engineers, program managers, and the global localization community to shape the multi-language experience.

Requirements

• Strong experience developing libraries and tools using Python and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and modern development workflows
• Experience with open source development practices and community collaboration
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team
• Professional fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Develop Python and JavaScript libraries (e.g., moz-l10n) and tools for localization infrastructure
• Improve localization and internationalization within the Firefox codebase
• Collaborate with engineers and program managers to design and implement new Pontoon features
• Engage with community of volunteer developers and localizers
• Collaborate effectively with distributed teammates and internal clients
