💼 About This Role

You'll lead Plaid's global accounting operations, overseeing a team of 10+ across GL, AP, treasury, and systems. You'll strengthen internal controls, ensure GAAP compliance, and scale processes for a high-growth fintech. This role offers the chance to drive public-company readiness while partnering with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and develop teams across GL, AP, international accounting, treasury, and finance systems
• Oversee month-end close, ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP
• Own finance systems roadmap, implement tools to drive automation and efficiency
• Provide accounting guidance to business partners for strategic decisions

📋 Requirements

• CPA required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• 5+ years in leadership roles at a publicly traded tech company
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP including consolidations, leases, and complex areas

✨ Nice to Have

• NetSuite proficiency
• Experience with Numerie, Zip, treasury platforms, and AI-driven tools
