💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design and engineering of advanced robotic systems at Standard Bots. Your work will enable AI-powered automation to transform physical spaces, making robotics accessible to everyone.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead design of robotic arms and grippers, selecting components like gears and motors.
• Perform FEA and tolerance analysis to optimize assemblies for mass, cost, and stiffness.
• Develop inspection plans and support quality assurance activities.
• Maintain BOMs and create detailed quote packages for procurement.

📋 Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–8 years of experience in electromechanical systems (robotics, automation, or consumer hardware).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (part/assembly modeling, drawings, design changes).
• Hands-on experience developing and executing test plans (environmental, durability, etc.).

• Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition (load cells, accelerometers, DAQ).
