Description

As a staff-level backend engineer at Maven Clinic, you will drive technical vision and roadmap for platform and product teams, designing scalable and reliable systems to support the world's largest virtual clinic for women and families.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in backend development and platform architecture
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, containerization, orchestration
• Cloud platform expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure) including IaC and serverless
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of highly scalable systems
• Propose and implement cloud-based solutions for agility and scalability
• Drive technical design discussions and guide team on best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features
• Mentor mid-level engineers and foster continuous learning
