You'll lead a brand-new AI Ops team at M-KOPA, designing, shipping, and scaling automations and AI agents across global operations. Your work directly improves how 2,300+ employees serve 7 million+ customers, accelerating financial inclusion across Africa. This is a chance to shape a team from the ground up with proven tech already in production.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead two AI Ops Engineers, owning delivery and development
• Prioritize competing requests using a clear framework
• Build and ship automations and agents for internal teams
• Keep AI tooling stack healthy across 2,500+ employees

📋 Requirements

• Hands-on experience building automations with scripting or workflow tools
• Hands-on experience building agents using LangChain, MCP, or Google ADK
• Background in enterprise tooling like Entra, Notion, or HiBob
• People leadership experience — led or mentored engineers

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with rapid prototyping tools like Vercel or Railway
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows
• Knowledge of Claude or Anthropic tooling
