You'll provide hands-on expertise securing mission-critical networks for a high-visibility federal customer, playing a critical role in strengthening and protecting complex security environments. You'll enable secure mission delivery across the organization with immediate impact and minimal ramp-up. This role stands out for its focus on Zero Trust architectures and defense-in-depth strategies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and manage firewalls, VPNs, IPS, and NAC solutions
• Secure network perimeters using defense-in-depth strategies
• Respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities rapidly
• Support continuous hardening and improvement of network infrastructure

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of network engineering experience focused on enterprise security
• DoD 8140 certification aligned to Network Operations Specialist work role
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, or Cisco security platforms
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Experience with Cisco ISE and ASA environments
• Experience supporting Zero Trust architectures
