Description

You will drive end-to-end energy storage system development on accelerated timelines, collaborating with program teams to define requirements and manage vendor relationships. You'll own ESS development from concept to production, including cell selection, BMS integration, testing, and sustaining fielded systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in EE, ME, or Physical Sciences with energy storage focus
• 5+ years designing, testing, troubleshooting energy storage systems
• Competence with battery test equipment (cyclers, thermal chambers, etc.)
• Knowledge of BMS capabilities in HW and SW/FW
• Experience in battery characterization methods and safety standards (UN38.3, NAVSEA S9310)

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end ESS development on accelerated timelines
• Define ESS requirements from user stories/CONOPs
• Execute ESS development artifacts: requirements, cell selection, validation
• Support ESS assembly, test, debug, and vehicle integration
• Sustain fielded ESSs with root cause analysis and design updates
