💼 About This Role

You'll operate blast equipment to remove surface contaminants from turbine engine components, preparing them for repair and paint in a global aerospace MRO facility. You'll gain hands-on experience with various blast media and equipment through an extensive in-house training program as part of a world-class workforce.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform blast operations using aluminum oxide, plastic grit, and wet blast.
• Mask and tape parts to prepare them for blasting.
• Set up and operate blast machines according to work instructions.
• Inspect and maintain blast equipment using hand tools.

📋 Requirements

• Two years' work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with pressure gages.
• Ability to perform basic shop math including decimals and fractions.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to follow step-by-step instructions.

• High school or technical school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to use hand-tools with good eye-hand coordination.
• Basic knowledge of computers and standard software.
