Description

As an Operations Engineer on the Starlink Satellite team, you will drive improvement projects for Materials Management and Satellite Supply Chain to ensure safety, reliability, and process capability goals are met. You'll be a vital link between development, supply chain, and production teams, designing and implementing processes to support the world's most advanced satellite constellation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or inventory management
• Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Python)
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma principles
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute capital equipment and layout upgrades for materials management
• Manage material flow projects and communicate with stakeholders
• Drive improvements in inventory, on-time delivery, and waste reduction
• Analyze root-cause failures in material flow and logistics value stream
• Develop and improve key process indicators and operations metrics
