💼 About This Role

You'll own Angel's financial data foundation, building datasets and integrations that make numbers accurate and auditable. You'll ensure transactions from Stripe and Shopify through NetSuite into Snowflake are traceable. This role offers high impact in a fast-scaling media company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain financial data pipelines across Stripe, Shopify, NetSuite, and Snowflake.
• Model end-to-end transaction lifecycles including payments, refunds, fees, and chargebacks.
• Build trusted financial datasets using complex SQL in Snowflake.
• Investigate and resolve cross-system discrepancies to improve data correctness.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering with strong SQL and Python.
• Financial modeling and accounting literacy (GL, accruals, revenue recognition).
• Systems integration experience via REST APIs and event-driven workflows.
• Auditability and traceability mindset for compliance-ready datasets.

• Familiarity with dbt and NetSuite concepts.
• Experience with Stripe transaction models.
• Familiarity with ELT tools like Airbyte and BI tools like Rill, Lightdash, Metabase.
