You will lead and grow the Civil Engineering practice in the Sacramento area, managing a multidisciplinary team, developing client relationships, and driving business development. This role combines project management, team mentorship, and strategic growth in a collaborative environment.

• Track record in infrastructure/environmental projects (water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation, site development)
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to grow new business through networking

• Charismatic, approachable, and skilled at building long-term client relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and client relationships to drive repeat and referral business
• Oversee project delivery, including fee proposals, scopes of work, and quality control
• Manage team backlog, delegate work, and ensure efficient project distribution
• Mentor and coach staff to achieve optimal performance and career development
• Recruit, interview, and hire engineering and design staff
