Description

As a Senior Security Engineer at InterSystems, you will design and strengthen security for distributed data platforms handling sensitive information. You'll collaborate with engineers and product managers to embed security into the full stack, focusing on authentication, encryption, and threat modeling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in software, platform, or systems security engineering
• Strong understanding of database internals, encryption, authentication, and access control
• Experience with threat modeling, code analysis, or vulnerability assessment in distributed systems
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or Go for analysis and automation

Responsibilities

• Design and validate secure platform architectures focusing on authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection
• Analyze, test, and harden database and application components for critical workloads
• Conduct vulnerability research, reproduce security issues, and review fixes
• Lead threat modeling and risk evaluations for emerging threats
• Build automation tools for vulnerability detection and security verification
