Requirements

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in state of work
• CPR certification (or obtain within 6 months)
• High school diploma preferred
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and transfer patients

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care: hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, safety
• Document care in patient records per guidelines
• Answer call lights and respond to resident needs
• Take vital signs and weights; report to Charge Nurse
• Turn and reposition residents every 2 hours
