💼 About This Role

You'll lead the end-to-end design of high voltage battery pack components for commercial and defense aircraft programs. You'll collaborate with CAE, quality, testing, supply chain, and manufacturing teams. This role offers the chance to push conventional battery design boundaries for aerospace applications.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end design of high voltage battery pack components.
• Collaborate with CAE, quality, testing, supply chain, and manufacturing.
• Provide hands-on prototyping, building, and root cause support.
• Establish design standards and best practices for battery design.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of mechanical design experience in high voltage battery design.
• Strong engineering fundamentals in structural design, materials, heat transfer, fluids.
• CAD proficiency (NX preferred) with tolerance stack analysis and GD&T.

• Experience with FAA certification requirements.
• Experience developing battery hardware technology roadmap.
