Description

As a Home Health Aide, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing home health aide and skilled nursing care to clients in their homes, allowing them to remain in a familiar environment. You'll assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, and personal care, with flexible scheduling and 1:1 patient assignments.

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience
• Listed on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Pass BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Have a criminal background check completed

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and home management tasks
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Provide range of motion exercises and oral feeding assistance
• Check vital signs: temperature, pulse, respiration
