Description

You will execute and oversee complex test campaigns (thermal vacuum, thermal cycling, vibration, shock) for satellite components and systems, helping build and organize the environmental test lab for K2 Space's Mega Class satellite.

Requirements

• Experience with environmental test applications (thermal, vibration, shock) in aerospace or similar industry
• Ability to program and operate test instrumentation and data acquisition systems
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering teams
• Attention to detail for accurate measurements and troubleshooting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

• Independently program, instrument, and operate environmental test assets (thermal, thermal-vacuum, vibration shaker, shock simulators, tension testers)
• Collaborate with engineering on test planning, fixture design, instrumentation, and data analysis
• Deliver accurate calibrated measurements and insights
• Maintain test lab equipment, manage consumables inventory, and lead 5S improvement projects
• Perform preventive maintenance on test equipment and support manufacturing tasks
