💼 About This Role

You'll work in the Language and Learning Lab to help ESL students achieve excellence in speaking, writing, reading, and listening. You'll use WIDA data to create personalized lesson plans and collaborate with teachers and families. This role reports to an Assistant Principal at Rocketship United Academy in Nashville.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Administer WIDA assessments to ESL students and serve as test coordinator.
• Create and use progress monitoring tools for speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Produce 6-week data analyses and action plans with team.
• Design daily lessons with explicit vocabulary and idiom instruction.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• TN Elementary K-6 teaching credential or transferable full credential
• TN English as a Second Language K-12 Endorsement
• Commitment to Rocketship's mission, vision, and goals

✨ Nice to Have

• Previous experience managing and/or teaching groups of elementary-age students
• Basic computer skills including troubleshooting
• Fluency in English
