💼 About This Role

You'll lead and build a team of Security Engineers to secure Ripple's products, infrastructure, and IT systems. You'll define the security strategy and embed security into every layer of the tech stack. This role offers the chance to work on crypto solutions that improve the global financial system.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set strategic vision and roadmap for Security Engineering team
• Lead, mentor, and strengthen a team of security engineers
• Serve as security domain expert for senior leadership and engineering teams
• Drive implementation of security guidelines across engineering organization

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years in security engineering with 5+ years leadership
• Expert-level knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and common web/blockchain vulnerabilities
• Experience with authentication/authorization standards (OAuth, SAML, OIDC)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in crypto, blockchain, or FinTech space
• Hands-on experience with threat modeling methodologies
• Track record of fostering positive security culture
