Description

You will monitor and operate tile production, casting, and leaching operations to produce high-quality heatshield tiles. You'll lead training, analyze system performance, and drive improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 5+ years experience with monitoring and operating casting, molding, leaching, reclamation, or chemical manufacturing systems
• Ability to work in high-temperature environments and stand for extended periods
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR requirement)
• Ability to pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral

Responsibilities

• Lead training and develop systems for technician qualifications in fiber delivery and casting operations
• Oversee fiber delivery system and casting operations, ensuring correct material and chemical dosing
• Analyze system trends to ensure quality of cast and sintered material meets standards
• Implement small-scale system improvements to boost efficiency and quality
• Manage spare parts plan and partner with engineering for changes
