💼 About This Role

You'll own the telemetry data platform for vehicle-generated data at an electric mobility company. You'll design large-scale ingestion pipelines and operate end-to-end ETL/ELT systems from raw ingestion to warehouse consumption. This platform ownership role sits at the intersection of data engineering and backend systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and own large-scale ingestion pipelines for vehicle telemetry data
• Architect and operate end-to-end ETL/ELT systems from raw ingestion to warehouse/lake consumption
• Define schema evolution, versioning, and backward-compatibility strategies
• Build fault-tolerant, observable pipelines with strong SLAs
• Implement backend services and APIs for telemetry ingestion and orchestration

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years in data engineering or backend platform engineering
• Deep hands-on experience with large-scale telemetry or IoT data
• Strong expertise in AWS data services (S3, Kinesis, Glue, EMR, etc.)
• Proven experience with Spark/PySpark on Databricks or EMR
• Solid understanding of streaming architectures using Kafka or equivalent
