Description

You will lead a team of Platform Engineers to improve developer productivity, AI tooling, and core systems, directly impacting how quickly the company can deliver care to patients. You'll drive sprint ceremonies, roadmap planning, and mentorship while contributing technically as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years managing Platform Engineers with focus on execution, 6+ total engineering experience
• Proven ability to drive sprint ceremonies, roadmap planning, and prioritization
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python preferred)
• Effective cross-functional partner with Product, Engineering, ML, Analytics
• Clear communicator who translates complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of Platform Engineers, fostering culture of technical excellence and accountability
• Lead execution via sprint ceremonies and roadmapping to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business priorities
• Hire and develop team through onboarding, coaching, and performance management
• Build and maintain shared application capabilities (libraries, services, frameworks, internal tooling)
• Establish platform boundaries and contracts to reduce cognitive load for product teams
