Description

You will work cross-functionally to build state-of-the-art cloud platforms for API protection, providing technical leadership and strategic direction for large-scale distributed cloud-native solutions while mentoring team members and improving engineering processes.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience including 8+ years with distributed systems
• Excellent Unix/Linux experience and programming with go, C/C++, Java and scripting: Python, Ruby, Shell
• Understanding of IPC mechanisms and experience with TCP/IP, Kafka, zmq, grpc, zookeeper
• Strong background in cloud environments: containers, Docker, Kubernetes, etcd, service meshes, Istio, Envoy, API gateways, load balancers
• Experience with databases (ACID, SQL/NoSQL, key-value stores, time series, columnar), CI/CD tools, and in-memory databases like Redis

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with high-profile talents, coach, mentor and encourage growth of team members
• Review architectures and designs across the organization to guide scalable cloud services
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for large-scale distributed cloud-native solutions
• Be a catalyst for improving engineering processes and ownership
