Description

As the Director of Data for India, you will lead Payoneer's data function locally, covering BI, Data Engineering, Data Product Management, and Analytics. You'll own the sprint cycle end-to-end, coordinate cross-functional data work, and ensure governance and compliance. This role involves partnering with global teams to drive data modernization initiatives and delivering high-quality data solutions.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years in Data/Analytics with 4+ years in leadership roles
• Strong background in BI and Data Engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the India Data team, representing global data disciplines locally
• Own full sprint cycle, represent India in planning, and ensure committed work is delivered
• Coordinate ingestion, modeling, reporting, data product work, and governance across data functions
• Translate business needs into scoped data requirements with consistent definitions and modeling standards
• Enforce data governance, documentation, PII, and audit processes; ensure compliance
