You will architect and implement backend solutions for Addepar's Order Management System, building a scalable trading rebalancing platform. Collaborate with product and design teams, mentor engineers, and drive high-quality engineering processes.

Requirements

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 8+ years software engineering experience
• Expert-level Java backend development
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, OLAP, or data lake architectures

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable backend solutions
• Lead project priorities, deadlines, and solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and partners
• Act as engineering representative for client and product support
• Mentor other engineers and set technical direction
