You'll apply data-driven methodologies to understand and optimize trading technology and real-time interactions with financial markets. You'll analyze network captures and exchange protocols to reduce latency and improve fill rates. No prior finance experience is needed.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Analyze time series network and exchange protocol captures
- Research exchange features, capabilities, and architecture
- Automate collection and visualization of latency metrics
- Formulate and conduct controlled experiments on trading infrastructure
📋 Requirements
- Degree in Data Analytics or related field
- Professional experience in latency reduction, preferably in finance
- Proficiency in Python and data libraries (Pandas, Numpy/Scipy)
- Basic understanding of TCP and UDP network protocols
