Description

You will join InterSystems' global infrastructure team to scale, automate, and secure container orchestration across on-premises and public cloud platforms. You'll work with DevOps, SRE, and security teams to deliver reliable, production-ready Kubernetes clusters for mission-critical applications, while mentoring junior engineers and driving best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional technical experience (or 6 years with a Master's degree)
• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux), observability (Prometheus, Grafana), and service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes networking internals, CNI plugins, and eBPF (e.g., Cilium)
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash for automation
• Must hold at least one: CKA (highly preferred), CKAD, CKS, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and upgrade Kubernetes clusters using tools like kubeadm, EKS, AKS, GKE, or Rancher
• Implement RBAC, network policies, ingress controllers, and security for multi-cluster and multi-tenant environments
• Automate cluster provisioning and application deployment using Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD
• Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Fluentd; troubleshoot cluster issues
• Enforce security via admission control, image scanning, runtime security, and secrets management
