Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software for Natera's custom Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and other components, working with Java, React, and REST APIs in a life sciences context. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across the SDLC, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code quality through reviews and testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience (server-side and front-end) for complex n-tier systems.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on Java experience with Spring framework.
• Mid-level front-end experience with React highly desirable.
• Extensive SQL and relational database knowledge with Hibernate/JPA.

Responsibilities

• Perform system analysis, assess risk, provide time estimations, and develop design strategies.
• Write code and unit tests for LIMS and other software components.
• Conduct code reviews and collaborate with developers, quality engineers, and product managers.
• Debug and perform root cause analysis for product defects and production issues.
• Partner with product owners and users to define requirements and create specifications.
