Description

As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Neuralink, you'll own meaningful projects designing, verifying, and transitioning custom electronics systems to production for our surgical robot. You'll work across diverse domains such as board design, motor drivers, camera hardware, and FPGA systems.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience developing circuits/products used by real customers (student teams/personal projects apply)
• Advanced knowledge in at least one niche: HDI, high-speed digital, high power, RF, atypical materials
• Experience with sensors, power management, signal/power integrity
• Design experience with SPI, UART, I2C
• Competent with oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.

Responsibilities

• Own full board design: part selection, schematic, layout, bring-up
• Design custom motor drivers (transistor selection to control loop)
• Develop high-bandwidth, low-latency camera hardware and firmware
• Build custom FPGA-based OCT data acquisition systems
• Create testing hardware (HIL systems, validation boards, life-cycle rigs)
