💼 About This Role

You'll design and build high-performance C/C++/Python software for NETGEAR's next-gen enterprise switches, routers, and access points. You'll own backend services and system-level components from architecture through production debugging. This hybrid role in Taiwan partners daily with cross-functional teams across hardware, QA, cloud, and product management.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement high-performance backend components in C/C++/Python
• Optimize memory usage, CPU cycles, and application performance
• Develop multi-threaded and asynchronous applications using POSIX threads
• Write robust unit tests using Google Test or Catch2

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of professional experience in Linux embedded system development
• Expertise in C, C++, and Python
• Strong knowledge of Linux system programming (e.g., epoll, inotify)

• Familiarity with build tools including OpenWrt, Yocto, CMake
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
