💼 About This Role

You'll design the internal developer platform at the infrastructure layer that every engineering team at GoDaddy builds on. Your work directly determines whether services are secure, compliant, and able to ship. You'll own automated pipelines for container images and certificate lifecycle management across 12 AWS regions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain automated pipelines for container and machine image building and distribution
• Own certificate lifecycle infrastructure for thousands of TLS/mTLS endpoints
• Drive security posture improvements through CVE triage and SBOM generation
• Architect event-driven serverless AWS infrastructure for image and certificate systems
• Mentor engineers on secure-by-default patterns and PKI fundamentals

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with depth in Python and at least one of Go, TypeScript, or Bash
• Strong command of containerization including multi-architecture image building and hardening
• Hands-on experience with AWS services at production scale (Lambda, ECR, DynamoDB, SQS, EventBridge)
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or CloudFormation

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience operating or migrating to a private certificate authority
• Background in container security and supply-chain security concepts
• Kubernetes experience
