As Commercial Counsel at Brex, you will negotiate revenue-generating agreements, advise on commercial legal risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support scalable growth in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Requirements

• Strong contract drafting skills with attention to precision and clarity
• 3-5 years of experience practicing commercial law in-house or at a law firm
• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in good standing
• Exceptional judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to take ownership and improve processes

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate revenue-generating agreements with customers and partners
• Negotiate inbound commercial contracts including technology, services, and consulting agreements
• Contribute to improving commercial legal processes, playbooks, templates, and workflows
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks, escalating complex issues as needed
• Provide business-oriented legal advice to cross-functional partners on contract terms and deal structures
