💼 About This Role

You'll build and run the operating systems for OpenAI's Forward Deployed Engineering team, enabling scalable deployment of frontier AI solutions. You'll turn fast-moving signals into clear operational plans, driving staffing decisions and portfolio reviews. This senior IC role offers broad ownership across the FDE operating model.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own FDE capacity planning and hiring forecasts
• Run operating rhythm for portfolio reviews and quarterly planning
• Determine staffing of customer engagements across FDE and partner channels
• Codify and evolve the FDE operating model

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years in technical program management or engineering operations
• Experience building 0→1 operating mechanisms for scaling technical teams
• Ability to align conflicting priorities and resource tradeoffs
• Clear communication across engineering, product, GTM, and executive audiences
