Description

You will be responsible for maintaining all equipment at Youfoodz, performing scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive tasks to ensure the facility runs at peak efficiency. You will respond to breakdown calls, support capital projects, and drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime.

Requirements

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
• At least 5 years of experience maintaining electromechanical machinery
• 3 years of experience in food industry maintenance
• Proficiency in metal fabrication and Stainless TIG welding
• Strong understanding of automated machinery, HACCP, and GMP standards

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance across the facility
• Respond to production calls to fault-find and rectify equipment issues
• Assist in developing processes for continuous improvement and reduce downtime
• Help maintain stock levels for critical spare parts
• Support capital projects and new equipment installations
