Description

As a Robotics Engineer at Anduril's Maritime Division, you will own the design, implementation, and delivery of perception and planning systems for autonomous maritime vehicles. You'll work on sensor integration, computer vision, motion planning, and simulation to enable safe navigation and mission execution for a family of underwater and surface vessels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proficient in C++ and/or Python
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle hardware and sensors (radar, sonar, LIDAR, cameras)
• Knowledge of computer vision, sensor fusion, SLAM, motion planning, or machine learning
• Eligibility for U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Implement trusted safe navigation, collision avoidance, and situational awareness systems
• Implement scalable sub-systems including sensor processing, perception, tracking, motion planning, health management, anomaly detection, simulation, testing fixtures, and vehicle interfaces
• Contribute to development of reusable software components across product lines
• Utilize advanced techniques in computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine learning
• Conduct thorough testing and validation through simulation and real-world experiments
